Morpheus8 combines RF (radio frequency) energy with Microneedling. The RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin while the Microneedling creates tiny punctures in the dermis to aid in the production of collagen, elastin and new skin cells. This technique is designed to improve the skin’s complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance, a natural anti-aging treatment.

The treatment begins with a topical anesthetic or local anesthesia in the treatment area. Once the area is prepared, the Morpheus8 device is systematically placed over the entire area and radio frequency energy is delivered through tiny needle-like pins. Through these pins, the radio frequency energy is able to reach and heat deeper layers of skin and tissue to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin for tighter, smoother skin. The treatment process takes less than an hour to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Results can be seen as quickly as one treatment although a series of at least 2-3 treatments, conducted one month apart is recommended for maximum results.

Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the lower face and neck. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment.

The benefit of Morpheus8’s colour blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.

Patient should moisturise the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the ageing process.

There is no required downtime after treatment with the Morpheus8 device. Some redness and mild swelling can be expected for about one 1-5 days, but you can return to regular daily activities right away.
