Plump lips are a sign of health and beauty, and as age takes its toll on our bodies, our lips get affected as well. Lip augmentation involves the use of lip injections containing Hyaluronic Acid to make your lips look fuller, so that you will have years shaved off, to look younger and healthier.

The gel in the fillers which are injected into your lip area help to give support and shape to your lip tissue. Lip injections also help to smoothen out wrinkles and laughter lines that form around our lip area.

If you are concerned about any of the following, then you may be a candidate for treatment:

  • Deep lines around your mouth and the corners of your lips
  • Poor lip definition
  • Small or deflated lips

One of the best things about receiving lip injections is that the procedure itself does not take too much time at all. In fact, in some cases your procedure can take as little as 15 to 20 minutes, making it possible to have it done on a lunch break.

How long the results last depends entirely on your body type. If you are on the leaner side, you may metabolize the formula faster. As the filler is made of Hyaluronic Acid, which is a substance found naturally in our bodies, the formula may naturally break down faster. However, your lips can be full and plump for at least 4 – 6 months.

If you choose to go with an inexperienced doctor, you could face unexpected and unwanted results and dangerous side effects. But with Dr.Bejma your lips are in good hands.

At the most, you may have slight bruising, minor swelling or redness which will dissipate after a few hours. 

During procedure you might feel discomfort. Dr Bejma offers dental block if you are worried about pain. Also predominantly we use cannula (blunt needle) that reduces pain associated with lip injections.
